Home Nudists

Home nudists, preparing food in kitchen. Some people do not visit nudist beaches or nudist resorts, but go nude frequently at home. Many of these “home nudists” would reject the label of “nudist” due to the feared stigma of the term. Whatever you call yourself though, nudity at home can make your home life much more comfortable and low-stress. Many young couples, perhaps over half, wander around their home naked, at least sometimes, for reasons other than showering or sex. Couples are less likely to go nude around the house by the time they have children, but some do anyway.

So can you call yourself a “nudist” if you’re only a nudist at home? Certainly! If you get nude outside the usual conformity of acceptable places like the bedroom, shower or doctor’s office, then you are a nudist, though perhaps not full-blown. People have reasons for not visiting nudist resorts or nude beaches. For some, they just don’t have time, money or baby-sitters. For others, they may be chronically afraid of their body being seen by others, out of body-shame, body-image fears, as opposed to modesty/morality concerns. And some do have the modesty/morality concerns as the reason they don’t go to nudist locations. That’s something personal and possibly of deep religious importance to a person, and I wouldn’t want to argue with that. Everyone has their own morality code and social nudity just doesn’t fit into that, depending on one’s belief system.

Nudist family at home.Home nudity is not without it’s challenges. Depending on the setup of your residence, unexpected visitors could get an “eye full” and get offended, aroused, shocked or embarassed. Just about any long-time home-delivery, UPS, pizza person or utility worker has seen people nude at least a time or two. Take care to not be visible from the front door and keep some clothing handy should visitors could drop by.

There are situations where people are nude even when friends or family are over, whether the friends or family are nudists or not. There have even been some celebrities with this naked-at-home behavior. It happens in some college dorms or off-campus homes at universities around the country. Whether or not it works out depends on how accepting and prepared the visitors are. While some people can “warm up” or get used to nudity they didn’t expect, some just can’t deal with it, so be considerate at at least warn people before inviting them over.

Older naturist couple at home.Home nudity need not only be indoors. Some are lucky enough to have a private backyard or even several acres of land, for sunbathing or any number of nude activities. Again, being considerate will allow you to get along best with friends, family and neighbors. Ensure you have tall shrubs, fences or building structures that fully block anyone from accidentally seeing you.

Be sure to stay legal, too. While in the U.S., most states and localities are reasonable, it doesn’t hurt to check local and state laws. Unfortunately, some innocent home nudists have been charged with crimes because someone saw them through their window or saw through their fence in the backyard. Despite these minor challenges though, home nudity can be as fulfilling as resort or beach nudity, and can actually be a positive message to family and friends, so be comfortable, healthy, happy and nude in your home!

I’m a home nudist happily living with my nudist boyfriend. I wouldn’t have it any other way. Being naked around the house is also a good way to have more sex because you’re half way there with no clothes on.

I live at Seminole Nudist Resort in Davie Florida. One of the reasons I chose to live here is I can be nude in the home and just walk outside.
We are looking to have more permanent residents here. We are making a lot of upgrades in services and landscaping and want people who are community minded to share our family oriented space.

I am a home nudist, and am nude as much as possible.
I only dress inside when it is too cold to go nude.
It is a very liberating experience.
Did you know that couriers don’t always need a signature for a parcel, and will leave it at the door? So, if you can’t get dressed in time to answer the door, just wait until the delivery person has gone.

I am a nudest whenever and where ever I get the chance. I love nude beaches but have never been to a nudest resort. Nude living for me is comfortable, a turn on and also invigorating. I can work outside nude because I live on a lot of acres and it\’s secluded. I love it, I wish my did. So that makes me a single nudest. I hate that.

  6. David - a nudist

I’m another “David” who is a home nudist and it’s unfortunate that my family is very uncomfortable with nudity while I’m fine with it. The part about the visitors getting an “eyefull” happened here and they didn’t take it well at all. See, I’m the only nudist in my entire family (that I know of) and they are so uncomfortable that they don’t even want to try it for themselves. I used to be a textile myself and was uncomfortable with nudity…until I tried it. If I could, I’d be nude 24/7. That’s how much I like it. I wish my family would at least try it to see whether or not they would like it. If they try it and don’t like it, then at least they’ll know not to try it anymore. But, what if they try it and they do like it? So, my big question is how can I convince my family to try nudism before they judge it the wrong way…without them thinking I’m trying to force it on them?

I’m a home nudist and my fiance knows I like to be naked as often as I can but it might shock her to know the extent. She’s very understanding and I’m sure it won’t bother her. When we get married I would like her to join in as well.

My girlfriend & I love lounging around the house barefoot & nude 24/7 year-round. She believes the nude figure(female/male) is a beautiful work of art & should be appreciated & seen for all it’s beutty & unigueness. We all look the same barefoot & nude-(beautiful)&I totally agree with her. She is always entertaining her family & our really close friends butt-naked,& they are extremely comfortable with it-(so much so that they-her family)& our really close friends also join us & go nude in the house year-round too when we all get to gether, hang out & relax
